Troupware are proud to announce the final release of TAME v1.0 (Build #361). After a few months of testing, Troupware felt this program was ready to go gold, but felt that a few changes needs to be made to the code to ensure that it would run more smoothly for our users. We have enabled a setting that allows all entries in the ‘Program Closing’ to stay enabled while the engine is running (i.e. constantly check if the program is opened or not, ensure that the backup procedures all run).

With that said, below is a description of TAME for all users that are new to this software:

“TAME is a simple backup solution that is designed to perform backups of areas that most would not consider important. For example, once you have closed your messenger application, have you ever lost your conversation logs? With TAME, this is no longer a problem, as you can simply monitor the messenger program itself and when it closes, a full backup of the conversation logs folder is preformed and placed in a customisable folder. Backups can also be set to run at specific system times, while running silently in the background. Each backup that is made is time and date stamped so that you are fully aware of when each backup was made.”

“Each backup that is performed is controlled from its own window, which can be easily customised on the main window if you do not wish to see them running. Advanced options are also available to start each backup section on start-up and to start TAME when the Windows session is started. All of these features are available in an easy to understand environment that blends easily with Windows.”
